Camper Van (bp coyle)

It‘s my turn to do the shopping run, and run it will have to be. The rent is three months late and my landlady lives next door, I can’t risk bumping into her. But we are out of all the basics and she never seems to leave her house except to potter around in her garden.

The hardest part is getting from our front door to the opposite side of the street, after that her camper van blocks the view. It is always parked outside her place, it only gets used once a year for her summer holiday break. I have enough money for about half of what we need, all in loose change scavenged form every coat and trousers pocket I could find. The back of the sofa has long since surrendered its last penny. I will try to get some extra stuff on tick. Can’t go to the usual shop as I already owe too much to them. I will have to sneak past there as well to reach the next shop down.

This can’t go on much longer. It’s hard to sleep these days and even when I do I dream about being in debt.
