They do things differently down there, it’s not like the rest of the Universe.
All that sharing and love and watching out for each other, it’s enough to make you sick. Peace! That’s what they believe in. As if anything has ever been accomplished by peace.
They replaced fossils fuels centuries ago, and nuclear power too. Now it’s all natural energy sources. Respect and love the planet, that’s what they preach. Respect and love each other.
They have explored and tamed the other planets in their system. They devoted each one to different endangered species. Nothing goes extinct on Planet X, oh no. They don’t believe in the natural order of things.
They have no weapons, no guns, no bombs. But they do have advanced defenses. No other sentient life can approach closer than two light years. Beyond that, all ships stop working, all our technology fails. They come out and rescue us, send us on our way.
They won’t communicate with us. Just a constant ‘Keep away. We do not want your poisonous thoughts corrupting us.’ in every known language.
