Sister Suffragette (bp coyle)

Today gentlemen, we are here to honour the memory of Joseph Smith.  I know most of you have never heard of him before.  But trust me, gentlemen, this man was a genius, he single-handedly saved modern civilization.  At a time when women were demanding equality, were demanding the right to vote.  When men were, obviously, reluctant to allow this to happen.  When we were in danger of a potentially bloody conflict.  A conflict without end.  He came up with a perfect solution.  Let them enter the polling stations, let them mark their paper and place it in the ballot box.  Then simply remove and destroy all votes cast by women and carry on as normal.  It was so simple.  So elegant.  Yet so amazing.  He was a true visionary.  His model is still being used now in every free country in the world.

So stand gentlemen please, raise your glasses and join with me.  God bless you Joseph Smith  You stopped women from throwing themselves under the King’s horses. from chaining themselves to the railing.  You put them back into the kitchen where they naturally belong.  We need a new Joseph Smith today to do the same once again.
