Nothing Will Ever Be The Same Again (bp coyle)

Have you ever had one of those life flashing before your eyes moments?

No?

Well, I have and I can assure you that it’s a very strange experience.

Actually, it’s happened to me twice.

The first time was way back when I was a kid. I was at the local swimming pool with one of my cousins. I was a good swimmer, my cousin was not as good as he liked to think. He followed me into the deep end and panicked. To keep himself afloat, he pushed me under and held me there. I’ve no idea how long I was beneath the water but that’s when it occurred, my very short life played out in my head.

In all ended fine, as I imagine you’ve worked out. The lifeguard rescued my cousin and I went unnoticed. I made my breathless way to the edge of the pool and soon recovered.

And what about the other time you ask?

That’s happening right about now. This car crash cannot be stopped and I think it’s going to be a bad one. Even if I live through it, nothing will ever be the same again.
