I don’t care what you say, or how much you cry, we are not keeping the kitten. We’ll bring it to a rescue centre, if it’s been micro-chipped then they can locate its owners.
No, you can’t tell it’s a stray just by looking at it, that’s just silly. Yes, true, it was very hungry, it put away that can of tuna in no time, but we don’t know how long it’s been lost.
Yes, it’s cute, very cute but you know your mother is allergic to cats. I can hear her sneezing in her bedroom. She would never agree to us having one.
Okay, okay, we won’t just dump the little mite in a cat’s home, though I am sure they wouldn’t really put it down. Stop sobbing like that, you’re scaring it.
We’ll take a photo and do up some posters, stick them around the area. Hopefully its rightful owners will spot them and be delighted. We can also see if there are any missing posters for it.
We’ll wait a few days and then… Then we’ll see.
Don’t get your hopes up girlie and don’t get too attached.
I’ll buy some antihistamines.
And cat food.
